Our Field:

We've located ourselves on an airfield just north of  Tottenham. To reach us from Toronto come up Highway 27, go west along highway 9 until you reach Tottenham Road (Simcoe county Road 10). Continue through the town of Tottenham and cross the South Simcoe Railway line. Turn left at the next road, 6th Line, and go west for 3.2km until you reach the Ronan Farm .Our host, Mike Ronan, is an Air Canada pilot who has graciously permitted us use of his 2000' runway, which is east/west, and 180' wide. The overshoots at each end are flat farmland and there are no wires directly at the runway ends.  We will monitor 123.40MHz when we are in operation every weekend, and occasionally during the week. There are numerous small strips surrounding the field in case of our runway being fouled or unusable when immediately needed. If you are using GPS the field coordinates are N44 02.5, W79 50.7 Elevation is 840' ASL. Parking by the barn is available, and we kindly ask that no cars come onto the field, and that visitors do not smoke while on grassy areas north of the parking lot as there is aviation fuel in the area. When walking down to the active end of the runway, please keep to the south side of the runway and keep a look out for planes.
