Thanks to the help of our club members we've spread the word about gliding through shows and mall displays like the one on the left, the first display at Square One Mall. One never hears enough of "What happens when the wind quits?!" or the other age-old question, "How do you land this thing?" We were once told by a sweet old lady, who really wanted to enter our free flight raffle, "I'm all for a flight, but I'd be happier if there was a glider which had 2 seats as I don't know how to fly myself." |

Glider traffic is not the only traffic we see at the field. Sometimes we get other gliders visiting, some light aircraft, and even a visit from our Canadian Forces! |
