A farewell to the human-powered ornithopter and BBQ took place on Monday, August 1st.
The ornithopter is being moved to the Canadian Aviation Museum in Ottawa in recognition as the first human-powered aircraft to fly by flapping its wings.

The 2011 Great Lakes Soaring Competition was successfully held at GLGC June 18 & 19 and included pilots from across Ontario.

The 2011 Gliding Season started on Saturday, May 7 with rigging and check-rides.

The spring safety seminar and annual general meeting had an excellent turnout of club members.
