Registration

Registration is open for the GLGC Ground School 2024. The course will be presented using a webinar format. Internet access is required.

Classes start mid February 2024. Lessons will be held one night per week for two hours till mid April, normally from 7.00 pm - 9.00 pm.

This course will be delivered by interactive webinar hosted by David Donaldson - SAC Safety Officer and Great Lakes Instructor.

The course fee is $350 for club members, $450 for others, taxes excluded. Payment will be required upfront, before the start of the course.

Books and peripherals needed. The Soaring Association of Canada (SAC) manual, SOAR and Learn to Glide, may be downloaded or will be supplied by your club. Maps will need to be acquired by course attendees and are available from a variety of vendors. "From the Ground Up" by Sandy A.F. MacDonald is also recommended reading.
