We offer a limited number of new memberships each year at Great Lakes Gliding Club. Contact us if you are interested in joining GLGC.

Fee Structure

Membership Dues

Full Member $ 750.00 per annum
Family Member $ 185.00 per additional family member
Student Member $ 495.00 enrolled full time in an educational institution
Associate Member $ 310.00 out-of town/other club/visiting on an ad hoc basis
Joining Fee $ 750.00 new members are required to invest in the club - payable over three years

Joining the Soaring Association of Canada (SAC)

Solo pilots are encouraged to be members of the Soaring Association of Canada (SAC). SAC membership, currently $80.00, includes third party liability insurance and a subscription to Free Flight, the SAC magazine. All members under the age of 25 and enrolled full-time at an educational institution are members of SAC at no charge.
