Our History
GLGC is one of the newer gliding clubs in Ontario. It was founded by five experienced glider pilots in 1998, on the airfield of Mike and Cheryl Ronan, our generous and gracious hosts.
GLGC started club operations with one Krosno and a tow plane. We added a second Krosno in the second year of operation and increased our ability to handle instructional, guest and solo flights.
