Registration is open for the GLGC Ground School 2025.
The course fee is $350 for club members, $450 for others, taxes excluded. A discount of $100.00 will be applied if you joining the club in 2025.
ON-LINE VIRTUAL GROUND SCHOOL COURSE
An on-line course delivered by interactive webinar hosted by David Donaldson, Instructor and SAC Safety Officer.
The workspace for this course is opening Thursday Jan 9 with assignments in preparation for the online session next Thursday Jan 16.

Books and peripherals required
The Soaring Association of Canada (SAC) manual, SOAR & Learn to Fly Gliders (2023), may be downloaded or will be supplied by your club.
Maps will need to be acquired by course attendees and are available from a variety of vendors.
AIM published by Transport Canada, Transport Canada Aeronautical Information Manual (TC AIM)
"From the Ground Up" by Sandy A.F. MacDonald is also recommended reading.
